Our Vision Statement

NOVDA–Sembekenung’s vision as a community association is to promote sustainable and integrated socioeconomic development through community cooperation, participation, dialogues, learning and information dissemination and by increasing policy, leadership and advocacy efforts. The Association endeavours to enhance effective interfacing amongst the citizens of No-kunda village in a dynamic system and to strengthen cooperation through dialogue.

Our Mission Statement

i.   Promote sustainable socio-economic development in No-kunda village;
ii.  Promote kinship, culture and awareness on social realities and the empowerment of the citizens of the village;
iii. Promote the education, training and employment of the citizens of No-kunda village, and their active participation in society;
iv. Reintegrate citizens of the village in active society through education and training. 

v.  Provide support for the creation of micro-enterprises and autonomous cooperatives especially for women;

vi. Encourage cooperation and mutual aid amongst the citizens of No-kunda village both at national level and in the diaspora.
